Integrated Dental Holdings (“IDH” or “the Company”), the leading provider of dental services in the United Kingdom, today announces that Omar Shafi Khan has tendered his resignation as Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) to enable him to take up a new role outside the company. Omar will leave the business with effect from 31 March 2019 but will continue to be involved as a non-Executive Director of Turnstone Equityco 1.
The business will now start a search to identify his successor as Chief Financial Officer. In the interim, the Finance Directors of our two trading divisions, Richard Storah (mydentist) and Ben Goodger (Dental Directory) will continue to lead our operational finance teams and Jeremy Perkin, Director of Group Finance, will continue to manage our external financial obligations.
The business will be reviewing results and actions in greater detail as per normal in the Q3 results call on 26 February, but can already confirm that Q3 Group EBITDA results will be within the expectation range shared during the Q2 results call and that there is no change to the full year Group EBITDA guidance range of £58-60m.
Tom Riall, Chief Executive Officer of IDH Group, said: “I would like to thank Omar for his contribution as CFO and wish him all the best in his new role. Omar has built a strong Finance function in both mydentist and Dental Directory, and I am delighted to welcome the latest addition to that team, Richard Storah, who joined our mydentist business as Finance Director in January. The business today is unrecognisable from where it was just 12 months ago: we have strong leadership in place, a clear plan for the future, and we are making good progress in turning the business around. Our focus now is to continue building on this progress as we deliver on our long-term plans to improve access to affordable dentistry for patients. I am delighted that Omar is to join the IDH Group Board as a Non-Executive Director and that I will be able to call upon his advice and support in the future.”
Omar Khan, outgoing CFO of IDH Group, said: “It has been a privilege to have been part of IDH Group as it has strengthened its reputation as the leading dentistry business in Europe. Over the last year, we have stabilised performance, developed an outstanding team at all levels of the organisation, and laid the foundations for its future success. I will continue to be involved in the business as Non-Executive Director and am excited to see how these plans develop.”
