Lynn Amoako-Boateng

Qualified from: Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh 2024 Diploma in Dental Nursing Level 3 QCF City & Guilds 2019
GDC No: 286049

I had braces myself when I was 12yrs old  and fell in love with the world of orthodontics there and then. I made it my goal from a young age to work in this sector of dentistry. So I started an apprenticeship in dental nursing at 16yrs old, and a few years after I qualified, I started working at {my}orthodontist Chelmsford in 2019. Working alongside our fantastic team and orthodontist, I gained experience in working with different fixed brace and clear aligner systems and realised I wanted to be more involved in creating a beautiful smile. I qualified further in Dental Radiography and Orthodontic Nursing in 2022, and in 2024 I had the privilege of qualifying from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh after training with Kings College London. My favourite part of my job is seeing our young patients grow and gain more confidence throughout their treatment and the satisfaction that comes with knowing I’ve contributed to their beautiful smiles. I look forward to developing my skills further with Invisalign, and clear aligners. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family, partaking in volunteer work, and playing musical instruments.
