Mehjabeen studied in Karachi (Pakistan) and throughout her undergraduate dental course, she was honoured with merit and distinction, graduating in 2004 with a commendation as the ‘best graduate’. She then worked in general practice before embarking on a 4-year postgraduate training programme with a special interest in Orthodontics. Since moving to the UK, Mehjabeen has concentrated on advancing and widening her clinical skills and knowledge she has also obtained her postgraduate qualification becoming a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow. She is a member of dental societies at home and abroad including the British Dental Association (BDA) and the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners of the Royal College of Surgeons (FGDP). In the near future, Mehjabeen plans to add to her clinical expertise by pursuing a Diploma in Conscious Sedation and Anxiety Management. Mehjabeen is interested in all aspects of dentistry and sees the benefit of working as part of a large clinical team. She particularly enjoys children's dentistry, gum treatments, preventative dentistry and restoring smiles. When away from caring for her patients, she enjoys, cooking (badly) and vlogging road trips around the world with her husband and young son.
