    Chris graduated from Newcastle University in 2009. He has been working in primary care since, and joined the team at Waterloo Road, Blyth in 2016. Chris enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and, with his meticulous approach, aims to provide the highest quality dental treatment to all his patients. He understands the importance of making patients feel comfortable and relaxed during their visit to the dentist, and endeavours to do this through his calm and caring demeanour.As well as providing NHS dentistry, Chris also wants to help patients feel happier and more confident with their smile, so provides a range of private treatments, including teeth whitening, teeth straightening (Quick Straight Teeth & Clear Correct), white fillings, crowns and bridges.Chris is committed to furthering his knowledge and skills, and regularly attends courses to further his development.

    Helen Byrne GDP Qualified from: BDS Newcastle University 2004 GDC No: 83317

    Helen moved to Newcastle to study Dentistry in 1999 and made the beautiful North East her home, so much so that she now refers to herself as an ‘Irish Geordie’.Helen enjoys all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry but is especially proud of the great rapport she has built with many of her long-standing patients and families over the years. Being able to help patients in pain or improve someone’s confidence in their smile offers great fulfilment in her job. Outside of dentistry, Helen loves spending time outdoors with her husband and two young sons, is a keen runner and a music fanatic.

    John Clark GDP Qualified from: BDS University of Otago 1999 GDC No: 77165

    John is a New Zealander who graduated from the University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand in 1999. He has worked in Scotland from 2004 when he completed his vocational training in Glasgow and Dumfries and Galloway. John then spent 7 years working in Private practice in Aberdeen where his family originate from. He moved to the north east of England in 2014 as his wife is from County Durham. John has just returned to Northumberland after a year working in private practice in New Zealand. John enjoys all aspects of general dentistry. Outside of work John enjoys running and hill walking. He is kept busy with his young twins.
