Alan qualified in 1985 from Edinburgh University. A familiar face in the Practice, Alan has been in General Practice since qualifying and has enjoyed treating patients for over 30 years now. Some of Alan’s patients have been with him throughout this time and he has treated their children and even their grandchildren! A good way to be reminded of the passage of time.
Given the choice Alan likes to have the chance to improve smiles whether through whitening, crowns and veneers or more recently Invisalign orthodontics.
Outside of work Alan appreciates Italian cars, he loves to ski, travel and try to stay fit.

Dr.Faye Gove

Faye graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2003. She went on to work in general practice in Bannockburn, Stirling, treating predominantly anxious and phobic adults and children.
Faye is committed to furthering her knowledge and skills so regularly attends postgraduate courses. She enjoys staying up to date with the latest developments in the field of dentistry.
Faye has a special interest in cosmetic and minimally invasive dentistry and is enthusiastic about promoting a preventative approach to dental care.
In her spare time Faye is kept busy with her young children and enjoys spending time with her family and participating in various outdoor activities.

Dr.Karen Gallacher

Originally from North Lanarkshire, Karen completed a degree at Glasgow University before moving
to Aberdeen to study at Aberdeen Dental School. Following her qualification she has worked in
practices in Aberdeen city for the past 10 years treating a wide range of patients aged a few months
to 95years old. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and likes to build relationships with her patients to
allow them to work together to help the patients dental health and make dental visits as beneficial
and positive as possible.
Karen continues to maintain her knowledge by taking part in courses and reading and is also an
active member of Grampian Local Dental Committee.

Dr.Patricia Cameron

Born and bred by in Aberdeen, Patricia ventured south to study dentistry in Dundee.
During her time there she did outreach posts in Aberdeen, Fife and Inverness.
With a keen interest in travel, Patricia has practised dentistry in the Solomon Islands, helping local villagers with toothaches and forensic dentistry at UBC in Canada.
She has since returned to her home town of Aberdeen and has an interest in restorative dentistry and facial aesthetics.
It is her aim to make patients feel valued, relaxed and leave confident about their smile.
In her spare time Patricia is kept very busy with her young family, enjoying fun times together, outdoor pursuits and family holidays.

Mr.Donald McIntosh

(Dental Implant Surgeon)

Donald has been working in private practices in the North of Scotland for a number of years. This has given him the opportunity to hone his skills in all aspects of general dental practice, ensuring he can provide a high quality of care and bring an extensive experience of general dentistry.
He participated in the Scottish Dental Implant course from this he gained a certificate in dental implantology. He has also now recently completed and received a diploma in Oral Implantology and Rehabilitation. This has enabled him to carry out straight forward and complex implant placements, to do bone grafting, sinus elevations and soft tissue grafting. Donald is also an active member of the ITI.
He is interested in many aspects of dentistry, particularly Restorative and Periodontal dentistry. Donald regularly attends courses to maintain his Continuing Professional Development to ensure his skills are up to date.

Mr.Stephen Monteith

Originally from Nothern Ireland, Stephen received his BDS degree in 2011 from The University of Dundee. He completed his vocational training the following year and has practiced Dentistry in Aberdeen ever since. Stephen has been at the practice since 2016 and prides himself in delivering a high standard of general dentistry in a relaxed atmosphere to put anxious patients at ease. He is qualified to straighten teeth using Straumann ClearCorrect aligners which are a clear, more cosmetic option to avoid the need for metal braces. Stephen is committed to his continuing professional development and regularly attends courses to update his knowledge and skills. Outside of Dentistry he is a keen football fan, enjoys playing guitar and spending time with his family.

Ms.Kathryn Curtis

Kathryn served 16 years in the Royal Airforce during this time she qualified as a Dental Hygienist. Kathryn now lives in Inverness with her husband, daughter and their dog. Regularly commuting from Inverness to Aberdeen to work at the Practice shows Kathryn’s commitment to the Practice and passion for her role.
Committed to furthering her knowledge and skills Kathryn regularly attends courses and seminars in order to do this. She also enjoys staying up to date with developments in the field of Dentistry and Hygiene.
In her spare time Kathryn loves music, walking, reading and spending her weekends exploring the beautiful highlands with her family.
