Black history month may have first originated from the USA in the early 1920s but was first celebrated in UK in 1987. Nonetheless, it is good to see we are continuously improving the awareness of the growing diversity of the British culture

The winners of the {my}dentist Excellence Awards 2021 have been revealed at our second ever virtual awards event

The theme for Black History Month this year is ‘Proud to Be’, and through my preparation and reflection for this piece, I had to think deeply about what this really meant for me.

Sophie Etherington, PM at {my}dentist Padiham Road in Burnley, who won Practice Manager of the Year at this year’s Dental Awards, was recently interviewed by The Probe about her achievement and why practice management has always been her career choice.

Daniella started at Poole as a receptionist, coming from a background in care work. After three months in the position, she enrolled as a Student Dental Nurse, going on to qualify as a Dental Nurse. She’s thoroughly enjoyed working alongside dentist, Dr Kunal, and spending time building strong relationships with their patients.
