When you use Curodont™ Repair with Curodont™ Protect, in combination with a good daily oral care routine, it helps rebuild and strengthen your enamel – the hard, protective outer layer of your teeth – using the minerals already found in your saliva.

What are the treatment steps for Curodont™ Repair?
Early decay is spotted
During your appointment, your dental care professional will identify if you have signs of early decay. At this stage, the surface of your tooth may look intact but mineral loss may be happening beneath.
Simple, quick application
Your dental care professional will apply the Curodont™ Repair formula directly to your teeth. This process should only take about 10 minutes.
Curodont™ Repair soaks into the tooth
Once applied, Curodont™ Repair will begin to penetrate the tooth, reaching where decay is forming below the surface.
Rebuilding your tooth
Using the calcium and phosphate ions in your saliva, Curodont™ Repair will then rebuild your enamel structure from within. Over time, this process can help prevent, or even reverse, early decay.
Apply Curodont™ Protect at home
1-2 times a week, after you're done brushing your teeth, apply a thin layer of Curodont™ Protect to your teeth, wait 1-2 minutes and then spit out. Don't rinse your mouth, so the gel can get to work protecting your smile.

They will explain what you need to know about Curodont™ Repair and, if you’re happy to proceed, they should be able to deliver treatment within the same appointment.
Afterwards, they will provide you with the guidance you need to look after your teeth at home and ensure the best results for your treatment – this will include applying Curodont™ Protect to enhance your treatment.
Is treatment with Curodont™ safe?
Yes, both Curodont™ Repair and Curodont™ Protect have been rigorously tested and are used by dentists around the world. Both Curodont™ Repair and Curodont™ Protect work with your body and its natural processes to rebuild and protect your teeth.
How long does treatment take?
Curodont™ Repair can usually be applied within a few minutes and may be integrated into your routine check-up visit. Curodont™ Protect is designed for at-home use and takes only a few minutes to apply after brushing.

Is Curodont™ available on the NHS?
Curodont™ Repair and Curodont™ Protect are not currently available on the NHS and are offered with an additional cost at select mydentist practices.
