Antoine graduated with a BChD from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, in 1989. He receivedthe University of Pretoria Dental Faculty Dean's Award for outstanding academic achievementand carried out research for which he received the Colgate Middleton-Shaw Award from theInternational Association for Dental Research. He practised as a Dentist in private practice in South Africa for several years, where he was also involved in two anaesthetic day clinics, carrying out dental procedures under general anaesthetic.Antoine joined Tring Dental Surgery and Sedation Clinic in 1998, where he has been involved incarrying out treatment with and without Sedation. He accepts referrals for Dental Implants, carrying out both surgical and restorative procedures. He also has a keen interest in Aesthetic Dentistry providing restorative treatments as well as Orthodontic treatments using clear aligners.Antoine believes in the provision of high quality dentistry, whilst making the patient journey aspleasant as possible, particularly for those patients with dental phobia. He is currently completing a Masters in Clinical Medicine from the University of Cambridge, focusing on breaking down the barriers to providing high quality dental care to patients with dental phobia, mental health issues and anxiety.
