Sophie graduated her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene and Therapy at the University of Birmingham in 2020, gaining invaluable experience treating a rich variety of patients within a community, hospital and general practice setting.Since graduating, Sophie is always looking to extend her knowledge including the undertaking of a wide range of CPD courses including Guided Biofilm Therapy aiding in her treatment of periodontal patients. In addition, Sophie is passionate about promoting good oral health for children and adults alike, she is especially committed to helping people prevent and treat gum disease. Sophie excels at understanding the needs of nervous patients and takes great pride in aiding the transformation of smiles of people who haven't been to a dental practice in a long time. Sophie's patient and kind approach brings patients immediately at ease. Sophie's dental ambition began when she volunteered in Kenya teaching, building schools and providing medical support, Sophie discovered how poor the oral hygiene was within the Alara region causing children to suffer tremendous pain and decided to undertake her degree to eventually go back to help in providing a solution for this issue!
