Your nominations

Before you start to write your Excellence Awards nomination(s), take time to watch this short video which has lots of hints and tips designed to help you write the best possible nomination.

To qualify, nominations need to hit ALL criteria for the category and must clearly show how the person demonstrates one of the People Values.

Use of AI in nominations
We welcome the use of AI tools to support you in shaping and refining your nomination, for example by helping to structure your writing or clarify key points. However, nominations must reflect genuine, first‑hand experience and insight. Due to a significant increase in fully AI‑generated submissions in 2025, any nominations submitted this year that appear to be wholly AI‑generated will not be progressed to judging. All nominations must be written in your own voice and include specific, concrete examples to evidence the statements made and showcase the true impact of the individual or team being nominated.
