Dr.Bindhu Koshy provides specialist treatment for periodontal diseases (gums). She obtained Specialist qualification from the University of London in 2001 and then spent a few years working at London hospitals and Specialist Practice. In 2006 she became Clinical Lecturer in Restorative Dentistry at Cardiff University also researching periodontal destruction and peri-implantitis. She holds a teaching qualification from Cardiff University, MPhil from Cardiff University, membership of the Royal College of Surgeons; she is a Fellow of the Higher Educational Academy and is on the GDC Specialist list in Periodontology. Dr Koshy presented her work nationally, internationally and published in leading international periodontal journals. Her expertise covers all aspects of periodontics including nonsurgical and surgical management, regeneration, aesthetics, supportive periodontal therapy and she limits her practice to specialist periodontics. Dr.Koshy welcomes referrals and self-referrals for consultations, second opinions and treatment to stabilise periodontal condition and monitoring for optimal dental health.

After finishing my graduation from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2017, I worked there as a post-graduate trainee in a hospital setting and as a general dentist in private practice for about 2 years. I started my MClinDent (Masters of Clinical Dentistry) in Endodontics in Cardiff University in 2019. During my 3 year-long post-graduate training, I got to work on complex endodontic cases and developed my patient portfolio. In addition, I possess the diploma of M.Endo (membership in Endodontics) under RCS Ed (Royal College Surgeons of Edinburgh). I worked in Torbay and South Devon NHS trust hospital setting in Uk which included emergency on-call cases and surgical aspects of dentistry; from this experience I can relate to the significance of a good endodontic solution even more. I genuinely believe trying to save teeth with endodontics treatments (Root canal treatment, root canal re-treatments, Peri-radicular surgeries) can enhance the quality of patients life. My principle is to try to deliver the highest quality endodontic treatments to my patients as per my ability and help them restore teeth.Outside work, my hobbies are mostly exploring music, painting, travelling and strength training whenever I get time.

After qualifying from the University of Bristol in 2010, I completed further postgraduate training, first joining the Royal College of Surgeons in 2012, then obtaining a Masters degree in Dental Implantology in 2016. I regularly attend implant-related courses to learn new advanced techniques, and I now commit a large amount of my clinical time solely for dental implant treatment.I have always believed that it is a great privilege to be able to help patients with their problems. It’s why, throughout my career, I have been so passionate about dental implants. I genuinely believe that dental implants can replace missing teeth to enhance a person’s quality of life: their self-confidence, their smile, their ability to chew and speak in comfort. At the core of my treatment philosophy is the belief that my patients deserve high quality care that should be delivered in a kind and gentle manner. I look forward to meeting patients.In my personal life I enjoy spending time and travelling with my wife and 4 boys. When time allows, I enjoy playing cricket and other outdoor sports, as well as training for my black belt in Jujitsu.

Dr Ana Pais graduated from Oporto University, Portugal, in 2018. After completing a year of private dental practice in Portugal she joined the {my}dentist group in 2019. She is passionate about dentistry, with special interest in Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry, and keen on ensuring anxious patients have a positive dental experience and feel more relaxed attending for their future appointments. Dr Pais is continually developing her skills by taking postgraduate qualifications; this includes a current Postgraduate Course in Orthodontics and Invisalign GO, as well as training in Facial Aesthetics.
