Melissa and her fixed brace

Melissa was self-conscious about the way her teeth looked. She had crowded and misaligned lower front teeth. She had considered braces but didn't like the idea of wearing fixed braces for 18months. When it was explained that we could straighten her teeth in 6 months she was happy to proceed. Melissa wore a fixed brace with tooth coloured brackets for 4 months in total.

I've always been self-conscious about the way my teeth looked, but thought it was something that I'd just have to live with. If you were lucky enough to get a photograph of me ( I hated it that much) I would never be smiling. I would hide my mouth behind my hand if I laughed. The first 2-3 days of wearing them was uncomfortable but after that I pretty much forgot they were there except when it came to cleaning them, I made sure I took good care of them and my teeth and I think that really helped with the end result. Within 6 weeks my teeth were straight. I was amazed. I have so much more confidence and now that my teeth are straight I can clean them much more effectively.

Alice's straight teeth

Alice was unhappy with her crowded teeth and interested in whitening for an upcoming family wedding. Following a consultation with Dr Hend Ainine, Alice was keen to start her Quick Straight Teeth treatment. After just 8 weeks of upper and lower fixed clear braces the correct alignment was achieved. Then followed Enlighten Whitening. To add the finishing touches composite build ups where completed on the front teeth.

I was so happy with how fast my teeth had moved, I couldn't wait to start the whitening! Once all treatment was finished Alice said I am delighted with my new smile, I can't believe what has been achieved in such a short space of time. I now have a smile to be proud of!

Worth the Wait

Judith presented with a gap following an extraction. Although not always visible, she had become increasingly self conscious, especially when smiling as this was when the space was most noticeable. Judith wanted a permanent solution to close the gap the extraction had left behind so opted for an Implant.

From the start of my treatment until the end result it took roughly a year, which is a long time but with the intricate precision required in the implant treatment I needed, I would rather it took this long to get it correct, than quicker and have problems later. I am very pleased with the results. I would definitely recommend Gary and the implant procedure to anyone needing it. I would like to thank Gary and his team for everything, they are an asset to the practice.

Orthodontics and Tooth Whitening

Angela had had orthodontics elsewhere as a teenager but wasn't happy with the results. Angela's main concern was the crowding of her front teeth. Angela opted for Invisalign to straighten her teeth as she wanted to have her teeth straightened without people noticing her braces and being removable suited her needs. She then followed this with whitening treatment to complete her perfect smile.

Janet's Implant Journey

Janet felt as though she needed implants as she's had quite a lot of infection with her existing crowns and her own dentist said there wasn't any way forward except to remove the teeth and have a set of dentures. Janet really didn't want dentures so a friend recommended our practice to Janet. Janet had natural concerns which we allayed, and opted for the implant treatment that we had discussed. Janet completed her treatment at the Practice and we're all very proud of the outcome achieved.

I've been absolutely delighted with the treatment provided. Compared to the teeth I had when I walked through the door the teeth I've got now are marvellous. It's unbelievable what's been achieved. I'm absolutely delighted with the outcome. I'm much more confident, I'm less self conscious about my teeth, I feel much happier that I've got my own teeth that don't have to come out every evening and get put into a glass of water. It's a lovely feeling knowing you've got a nice set of teeth.

Anthea's Inman Aligner story

Anthea presented with mild lower crowding but wanted it improving before her upcoming wedding for her own confidence and wedding photos. A range of treatments were discussed but Anthea decided the Inman Aligner was the perfect solution for her. The Inman Aligner is really efficient, very safe and great value. Most cases complete in 6-18 weeks and because it's removable you can take it out to fit with your lifestyle.

I had my Inman aligner for 8 weeks to straighten my lower front teeth before my wedding last summer. I had previously had orthodontic treatment as a teenager but my lower arch had unfortunately relapsed due to no retention. The treatment was so quick and easy I was so pleased I done it before my wedding for my own confidence more than anything. The appliance was really easy to wear and was painless. The best part was it was invisible. I am so happy with the results they are amazing! I wish I'd done it sooner.

Same day transformation

This patient’s main issue was the shape of the upper canines. He assumed he would need to have his teeth shaved down for porcelain veneers but following on from a consultation, in one single visit we added composite build ups on his teeth without preparation. He was delighted with the end result.

I am delighted with the results! It was quick, easy and painless. Simple additions to my own teeth has made a great improvement.

Steve was an anxious patient who has now managed to overcome his fear of anything dental with our help. We worked with Steve to make sure that he was fully informed throughout his procedures which seemed to take the fear factor away. The calming atmosphere we have at our practice enabled Steve to forget he was at the dentist.

On a scale of 1 to 10 my fear of dentists and needles would be around 25...... But from the moment I entered the building and being greeted by Michelle I was put at ease. Claire, the Patient Co-ordinator knew exactly how to deal with a quivering wreck of a grown man.... Once in the room I was met by Jill Furey the Dentist and Rebecca the Dental Nurse and they was fantastic. Jill took everything slowly and really put me at ease. By the end of the work I was that happy I gave them both a hug, which may have been a step too far.... sorry ladies... So, if like me, you are a quivering wreck when even thinking about having to visit a dentist, please give these guys a go, you won’t be disappointed promise.

Hated my Gummy Smile

Melissa completed a smile check at her most recent examination with ourselves which led to a conversation about why she disliked her smile. Melissa was very self-conscious about the amount of gum visible when she smiled. We discussed a few different options including surgical gum re-contouring, veneers and muscle relaxant injections. Melissa opted to have the muscle relaxant injections.

Ever since I can remember I was unhappy with my smile. This stemmed from being teased at school because of my 'horsey' smile due to the large amount of gum visible. I was only aware of gum surgery to alter the appearance and this option seems a bit radical to me. I was amazed to find out that a muscle relaxant injection into my lip could reduce the amount of gum showing when smiling. The effects were pretty much immediate, though it took maybe 3-5 days to come into full effect. I'm so happy and will definitely be returning to have further procedures when I feel that the results are wearing off

Janet attended with pain and sensitivity from all of her teeth. She has been managing by altering the way she eats, otherwise the pain would be constant if she ate or drank anything cold. Janet was very nervous. She had partial dentures which she was unhappy with, and she was also not happy with the teeth that remained. Janet came to us wanting a fixed solution but unsure of what was involved in treatment options. Janet worried about bone loss due to having lost teeth a long time ago impacting on her treatment options. We discussed options and Janet chose replacement of the missing teeth with implant supported bridge using 4 to 6 implants for both upper and lower arches, providing a permanent fixed solution which restored function and aesthetics.

Full arch Implant treatment

Keith attended our Practice to see Ahmed following recommendation from a friend. His main concerns were that he did not like wearing a lower denture and he was unable to eat with it. Keith also had an upper denture for around 8 years which he tolerated but wanted a more permanent option. After lengthy discussion Keith opted for replacement of the missing teeth with implant supported bridges using 4 to 6 implants This option meant Keith would have his masticatory function and his smile restored. It would preserve the surrounding bone, prevent bone loss and prevent atrophy of the jaw. Keith went ahead and had placement of 9 implants in total, 5 on the upper and 4 on his lower arch. He was provided with a temporary bridge whilst waiting for healing to occur, then had permanent bridges placed approximately 4 months later once full healing had occurred.

I was drawn to the fixed implant retained Bridge option as the bridge would be screwed into the implants therefore only the dentist could remove it meaning it was the most fixed solution for me, which was what I wanted. I was recommended Olivers by a friend of mine.

Implant Supported Dentures

Michael came to us mainly concerned about his missing teeth and his lack of ability to chew. He had been struggling with his current dentures and the teeth he lost due to gum disease. Michael felt as though he had lost confidence with his smile. Michael was keen on a fixed solution depending on what was is involved in treatment. After consultation Michael opted for replacement of the existing poor prognosis teeth using a denture supported by four implants.

I opted for Implant supported dentures after Ahmed had provided me with every option and costings. Very happy with outcome

Implant Retained Bridge

Donald’s main concerns which was that he had lost many of his upper teeth and they were replaced by a denture in the upper jaw. He did not feel confident with his current denture as it moved around, and he could not taste food. Donald wanted to have a fixed solution to replace his denture and opted for an implant retained Bridge on 5 implants.

Finally able to eat normally and taste my food.

Cosmetic Crowns and Bridgework

This lady came to us as she wanted to replace her old, uneven crowns. She was unhappy with the shape, size, and colour of her crowns and also the denture that she had. After an appointment with her Dentist Muneera to discuss her options, we replaced her old crowns and made a bridge to replace her old denture.

I am extremely pleased with the treatment I have received. My teeth were very uneven in shape, size and colour before. Now they are even in all aspects and look very natural. My treatment was handled with care and I felt in safe, good hands throughout.
