{my}dentist launches new recognition scheme with ClearCorrect

To celebrate the success of the ClearCorrect clear aligner brand at {my}dentist a recognition scheme has launched to reward top performing clinicians and practice teams.

Under the scheme, practices earn a smile rating depending on the number of cases they deliver annually. There are also quarterly competitions where six practices each win a £500 Red Letter Days voucher to spend on a team day.

{my}dentist partnered with Straumann-owned ClearCorrect in 2019 to enable its clinicians to offer patients clear aligners at an affordable price point. Through the partnership dentists can access preferential rates on training and lab fees and to date more than 2,000 cases have been started.

Thanks to Salma Ainine, who practices at {my}dentist Olivers House in Sunderland and Amit Patel, who practices at {my}dentist Bognor Regis, they became the first practices to achieve the recognition status of 5 Smile, meaning that they delivered more than 50 cases in the last year. A further seven practices have achieved 4 Smile status, meaning they have delivered more than 25 cases and 18 practices have unlocked the 3 Smile status, meaning they have delivered more than 10 cases. Prizes awarded in August include Best Use of Dental monitoring (Salma Ainine, {my}dentist Olivers, Sunderland), Best Clear Correct Patient Event (Jennifer Griffith, {my}dentist Formby), Best Case Portfolio (Ben Cosgrave, {my}dentist Greenock) and Best Instagram Account (Hanna Matysiak, {my}dentist Wimborne).

Our clinicians were quick to realise the product’s potential to bring teeth straightening into the reach of a greater number of patients and to date more than 500 have completed the training course to provide the treatment.
