What is the process to be considered for a self-employed associate dentist opportunity at mydentist?
When you apply for a role with mydentist, you will be in contact with a recruiter, who will be your main point of contact throughout the application process.
Your recruiter will discuss your experience and try to gain an understanding of what is important to you in your next role. You will also have a call with a member of our clinical leadership team to understand your clinical experience and give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about working with mydentist from a fellow clinician.
Your recruiter will be available to support you throughout the application process. They will be well-equipped to answer any questions you may have. You can also meet members of the practice you could be working in and will have the opportunity to see the facilities in practice.
What training can I access at mydentist?
The mydentist Academy provides the induction training you need when you start working at a mydentist practice which will be tailored to your role and level of experience. You will be able to access discounted training from our industry leading partnerships, including face to face training opportunities, and you will also be able to access discounted core CPD via Agilio – an online education platform.
There are also several peer groups you can join should you choose to train to deliver any additional treatments, such as whitening, clear aligners, implants and more.
What support is there for clinicians at mydentist?
Our clinical support network is made up of several experienced dental and orthodontic professionals, who are there to provide you with advice once you begin working at a mydentist practice.
You will be in regular contact with a member of our clinical support network, known as a Clinical Development Advisor (CDA), who can help support you as you start working in practice. They will endeavour to support you with your career aspirations and can help direct you toward training opportunities or provide support if desired.
They can also connect you with relevant CDAs focused in specific areas such as implants or aligners, help connect you with your peers, invite you to peer review sessions and direct you to peer support groups.
All mydentist practices are serviced by our Support Centre, as such, you’ll have access to assistance from several teams who specialise in everything from patient support to dental payments – to ensure you can focus on delivering outstanding patient care.
