What is the recruitment process for Support Centre roles?
The recruitment process for Support Centre roles may vary depending on the role you are applying for. Typically, after you have submitted your application, we will look at your skills and experience to see if you are a good fit for the role. If you are, a member of our recruitment team will contact you to conduct a candidate screen. This is a quick chat to find out more about you and what you are looking for in your next role and is your opportunity to learn more about the role.
The next stage is typically an interview with the hiring manager, which may be conducted face-to-face or virtually. At this stage you find out more about the role and responsibilities and the hiring manager can ask you some questions about your skills and experience. For some roles this may be the final step in the recruitment process.
For other roles the final stage candidates are invited to complete a short online assessment so we can better understand your personality, behaviours and aptitude. This is a short process completed easily at home and candidates receive a feedback report. For all candidates who are invited to complete the online assessment there is a final stage interview face to face with the hiring manager, you will be asked for your feedback on the assessment and report received, you will also be asked some follow up questions arising from the online assessment.
What hybrid working arrangements are on offer at the Support Centre?
There are varied hybrid working arrangements in place across the different departments based at our Support Centre.
Some departments are in the office three to four days a week, others are in the office one to two days a week, this varies depending on the needs of the role and team. There are many roles with some flexibility on start and finish times and we can offer part-time working arrangements. Some roles may operate on a shift/rota basis. We do actively encourage new team members to attend the office as often as needed during their induction period, to ensure they can work closely with their team.

What does career progression look like at the Support Centre?
mydentist is proud to encourage and support the career development and progression of our people. Support Centre colleagues can apply via the professional qualifications policy to complete external qualifications / apprenticeships.
We also have an in-house learning and development centre called the Academy, where there are structured inductions by role type and an array of online development resources. Coaching, mentoring, project work and secondment opportunities are also available to Support Centre colleagues. Employees progress within their own function or they can move into new functions, all opportunities can be found in the Workday jobs hub and internal applications are always welcome.
