NYC Trip – Free Prize Draw Terms & Conditions

1. The promoter of this prize draw (“Prize Draw”) is mydentist Group Limited, trading as mydentist, a company incorporated in England and Wales with registration number 5657369 and with its registered office address at Europa House, Europa Trading Estate, Stoneclough Road, Kearsley, Manchester M26 1GG (“mydentist”);
2. The prize is a trip to New York - prize package for 2 adults, as further described below (the “Prize”).
3. mydentist reserves the right to amend the specification of the Prize or offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value, for example if any part of the Prize is unavailable for any reason.
4. No cash alternative to the Prize will be available and the Prize is not transferable or exchangeable.
5. Subject to these Terms and Conditions, there is 1 (one) Prize available to be won by any eligible participant who enters the Prize Draw before it is closed.
6. Participants will be verified for eligibility.
7. Eligible participants will be able to validly enter the Prize Draw from 9am on 18^th October 2024 until 5pm on 22^nd August 2025 (the “Closing Date”), when the Prize Draw will automatically be closed. Entries received after the Closing Date will be not be valid.
8. The Prize Draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
9. This Prize Draw is open to UK dental students (BDS), foundation/vocational dentists and dental core trainees in the UK over the age of 18 only.  It is not open to any employees of (or clinicians engaged by) mydentist.
10. Eligible participants must complete all data fields marked with an asterix (*) in the Prize Draw entry form for their entry to be valid.
11. All entries must be submitted via the Prize Draw entry form by the Closing Date and only one entry per person is permitted.
12. The winner shall be drawn at random and the draw will be performed by mydentist on or around 29^th August 2025 (the “Draw Date”) from all valid entries received by the Closing Date. The draw will be conducted in accordance with the laws of chance and will be independently supervised.  If a non-conforming entry is drawn it shall be disqualified and that ineligible entrant shall not be awarded the Prize.
13. The winner will be notified by mydentist within 7 days of the Draw Date to organise receipt of the Prize. If a winner does not respond within 7 days, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and mydentist will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
14. The winner may have their name published on the mydentist website and in any marketing publications and the winner consents to this when entering the Prize Draw. 
15. mydentist accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault including but not limited to technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
16. mydentist reserves the right to replace the Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond mydentist’s control makes it necessary to do so.
17. The decision of mydentist regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
18. mydentist must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation mydentist will send the surname and county of major prize winners and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who emails [email protected] or writes to mydentist marketing, Europa House, Europa Trading Estate, Stoneclough Road, Kearsley, Manchester M26 1GG (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the Closing Date. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact mydentist [email protected]. In such circumstances, mydentist must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
19. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions upon entry. mydentist reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the Prize to anyone in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
20. mydentist reserve the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
21. Insofar as is permitted by law, mydentist, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of mydentist, their agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
22. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in mydentist’s Privacy Policy www.mydentist.co.uk/customer-services/patient-privacy. See also paragraph 18 with regard to the announcement of winners.
23. These Terms and Conditions and this promotion are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in the United Kingdom.
24. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Meta/Facebook/Instagram. 

PRIZE DETAILS

Prize package for 2 adults over the age of 18 includes:
Airfare: Return flights from London, UK to New York, USA
Accommodation: 3 nights’ (4*) hotel accommodation in New York City
Spending money: $500 USD

• Prize is for 2 adults
• The Recipients must travel at the same time with the same itinerary;
• Economy flights from major international airports in London only (inclusive of all applicable airport taxes, fees, and duties) to New York City, USA; Flights may be indirect and not all routings will be available; Flight itinerary will be selected by prize provider at their sole discretion;
• Travel arrangements, including costs relating to public transport, fuel or parking, to and from the winner or companion/s’ home and London departure airport do not form part of the prize and are the responsibility of the winner and their travelling companion/s;
• Spending money will be provided to the value of $500 USD for use in New York City and will be sent to the winner via bank transfer to the winner’s nominated account, recipient of funds must be 18 or over;
• A valid credit or debit card will be required for security deposit purposes when checking into accommodation;
• Accommodation is based on 2 adults sharing one double occupancy room at a 4* hotel in New York City;
• Accommodation will be selected by the prize provider at their sole discretion;
• Accommodation for the Recipients does not include any meals, incidentals, gratuities, or telephone calls. Any other personal expenses incurred during the trip will be the responsibility of the Recipients;
• The prize excludes travel insurance, meals and drinks, excursions, attractions, treatments, visas, personal expenses and anything not expressly stated in the prize package;
• All elements of the prize are subject to availability; If unavailable, experiences and items of a similar nature and value may be offered at prize provider’s discretion; Winners must contact prize provider with three preferred travel dates in three separate months no later than six weeks prior to departure;
• All elements of the prize must be taken at the same time;
• Once booked, the prize cannot be amended or cancelled;
• Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable; No cash alternative is available;
• All travellers will require a passport valid for at least 6 months on date of travel; any necessary visas or insurance are the responsibility of the winner and guest;
• The prize cannot be taken from 21^st December – 4^th January (Christmas and New Year), over UK public holidays, or over Easter Sunday;
• Prize is valid for 12 months from the date of notification of winning, and all travel must be completed within that time
