Around a quarter of UK children develop tooth decay by the time they start school, making it the nation’s most common childhood disease. Shockingly, more than 25 per cent of 2 to 5-year-olds have one or more cavities, and it’s the same for kids aged 12 to 15 years old.

mydentist launches its attack on plaque

After months of design and production, The Plaque Attack, is now is available free to download from Apple and Android. The app has been launched as part of our Kids’ Club initiative, which aims to educate children on the benefits of maintaining good oral health and clarify what foods are good and bad for your teeth.

Word’s cannot explain how excited we were to see some of the UK’s top dentists, orthodontists, dental nurses, hygienists and therapists gathered together at the brand new Vox Centre in Birmingham, for the first mydentist clinical conference.
